WIPB's in-depth look at the economy offers information on resources available in the community, news on the economy in Indiana and across the nation, and special local programming. Surviving Unemployment: Solution Oriented Approach provides help with finding a job, or how to cope with losing one.
The National Parks - WIPB visits the DunesWIPB partnered with Ball State University Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management to visit the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore and State Park with the children at the Boys and Girls Club of Muncie.

Past Outreach Initiatives
Echoes of War: Stories from the Big Red One: an interactive educational program and companion website that focuses on the famed 1st Infantry Division of the United States Army, also known as the Big Red One during WWII.
Remembering WWII: East Central Indiana Stories: a collection of stories from WWII veterans. The collection will be stored at Minnetrista in Muncie, and copies will be forwarded to the Veterans History Project at The Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.
Prayer in America: a legal challenge over prayer in the Indiana legislature and a controversy witnessed on the steps of Muncie City Hall.
By The People: discussion centered on individual wellness and building a healthy community as it relates to larger healthcare issues.
