WIPB in the Community
WIPB is proud to be part of a dynamic, diverse community. Our connection to east central Indiana goes beyond our television broadcast to include projects and activities that reflect and serve our distinctive region. Local activities, community projects and education workshops are some of the ways WIPB brings our viewers into contact with each other and our community's rich resources.
Community Outreach >> Facing the Mortgage Crisis
There are a host of factors for the mortgage crisis. To address these and other important issues, WIPB-TV will present Facing the Mortgage Crisis, a special live call-in program with a panel of guest experts discussing what viewers can do to save their homes.
Surviving Unemployment: Solution Oriented Approach
WIPB's in-depth look at the economy offers information on resources available in the community, news on the economy in Indiana and across the nation, and special local programming. Surviving Unemployment: Solution Oriented Approach provides help with finding a job, or how to cope with losing one.
The National Parks - WIPB visits the Dunes
WIPB partnered with Ball State University Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management to visit the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore and State Park with the children at the Boys and Girls Club of Muncie.
Every third Wednesday of the month there is a Program Club meeting open to the public from
2 - 4pm at Minnetrista in Muncie.
Many east central Indiana residents have shared with us their passion for WIPB. Read, watch or listen to their stories about why WIPB is their source for information, inspiration and more, or submit your own testimonial!
